Lakshman Anantakrishnan, Head of Investment Strategy, ANZ Private

Lakshman is responsible for the portfolio management, construction, and asset allocation of ANZ’s +AUD 7 billion in Funds under Advice.
Lakshman has over 20 years of industry experience in asset management and private wealth. Lakshman joined ANZ after serving as Chief Investment Officer at AMP Ltd, where he focused on advising the Superannuation Trustees on performance improvement and restructuring AMP’s investment business. Before AMP, Lakshman was Head of Portfolio Management at Credit Suisse, spending close to a decade managing global multi-asset portfolios across various risk profiles and designing and implementing bespoke strategies for Credit Suisse’s client base. He also has considerable experience in institutional investing, having managed funds for BT Investment Management (now Pendal) and Principal Global Investors. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master of Commerce — Finance from the University of New South Wales.
