Douglas English, PWN Member Australia (G1) & Founder, Culture Amp
For the last 12 years, Doug has been Co-Founder and CTO of Culture Amp, a fast-growth tech company in the HR space. Culture Amp’s mission is to amplify the experience and impact of 100 million employees across the globe. After attaining a bachelor of software engineering and spending ten years following a corporate career in mostly tech consultancies and financial institutions, Doug took a different path, resigned from his job, sold his house, and founded Culture Amp.
Doug has helped grow Culture Amp from a four-founder startup to a 1000+ employee “unicorn” with offices in Melbourne, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, London and Berlin. He has helped steer the company from a survey platform in the employee engagement space to a multi-product employee experience platform, assisting companies to measure and improve every aspect of an employee’s lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management to leadership enablement.
